CUTE AS A BAG

As a mom, Suz strives to be a strong, chic role model to her kids. Even though her daughter is only 12 months, she always encourages her to be her own person {excluding instances of matching Burberry swim suits and holiday plaids}. But sometimes her sweet little peach looks so darn cute, Suz wishes she could be more like her. Case in point: the first birthday girl's new merah muda mini tote — proof positive that she couldn’t possibly get any cuter. 

Sold on Etsy, and designed by the hip Los Angeles-based Misha Kurniady, merah muda bags are one-of-a-kind. Made out of recycled t-shirts, the totes come in styles that complement and mimic both its fabrics and inspiration. FASHION FUSHION

We can’t get enough of the scarf necklace this season. It’s a scarf! It’s a necklace! No, it’s both! It’s a fashion fusion! Our favorite scarf necklace — a handcrafted, upcycled one — hails from Wichita Falls, Texas-based Alterdelenda. Part scarf, part necklace, Alterdelenda's designs are handmade from salvaged materials {mostly tees and men's polos} heading to landfills. T-shirt seams and fabric knots are left in tact to prove it!
